Music eq???

Does anyone agree with me that we could use a music EQ. I have been searching and the closest thing is Astro Player but it doesn't work very well. Its still in beta. Or is their one out their that I'm totally not seeing?

I care too. The few days I used my Evo for music in my car, the only thing I could focus on was how the lows were drowning out everything else.

Thanks guys, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who feels a need for an eq. I tried using Astro Player but its not that great, granted its still in beta. I would pay good money to have one that I can use in every application such as pandora, slacker among other multimedia apps. So if any DEV's are reading this take an note and please develop one. :D

Yeah I noticed the same thing. I have a keen ear thanks to my aura skills obtained studying music theory and playing the piano and other percussion instruments. If we had an EQ on the EVO it would be icing on the cake for me.

First of all,..I care bro!! :) Seriously,..I'm in total agreement here. I also make my own music and have a keen ear as well(at least I'd like to think so :D). In my opinion(when listening in headphones) the EVO does seem to have a "fairly" flat sound which doesn't really bother me as I like to know where everything is sitting in my production mixes. EQ would be nice but my problem with the EVO's audio device is the lack of max output...I'd just like to see EVO get a higher output volume. iPhone beats EVO audio output volume by at least 3db. EQ settings would be a nice added feature for EVO. :D

BRING ON THE EQ. I want one!! I wonder why HTC didn't include 'audio booster' like with their Windows Mobile phones.

I agree. My little 4GB Sansa puts out more db then my EVO. I hope in the future we can download an app or better yet and HTC update to output more POWER!:D

Yeah what the HECK! My POS Diamond had an EQ . Come HTC get your sh*t together. :D

It works but only in the audio player app. Not bad. One thing I did notice that after you make a change it pauses your music then it adjusts it. But its better then nothing. Thanks Tolu.

I have been using the Audio Player EQ for a few days now. I really like it. I bought a new set of headphones, Sony with extra bass, and I really noticed the difference. Don't know why HTC did not include it in the phone. Maybe they just wanted to be able to get more money out of us?

Hmmm,..that's funny because I don't remember it making any difference in the sound at all. Like I said, maybe I wasn't using it correctly. I'm going to have to give it another try. :)

I believe MixZing will be releasing an EQ in a future update for their media player.
