Unlock the phone and then play/pause the music. After using the music player it remains on my lock screen until I reboot - is there any way to revert back to my normal lock screen picture without rebooting?
Thanks but already tried obvious thingsUnlock the phone and then play/pause the music.
If that doesnt work then kill the music task with TasKill or ATM.
He wants it to go away, not stay.Had the same problem, but found out that it was caused by the task killer that was installed. So I went into the task killer app and put the music process in the ignore list, so it won't die when I click "kill all tasks". Hope this works for you too![]()
Well you are wrongly assuming my phone is working identically to yours - I've done what you say and guess what!? Widget staysWell then you are doing it wrong.
I paused it on the lockscreen, unlocked, and relocked it. And guess what!? No lockscreen widget.
Well your phone sucks.Well you are wrongly assuming my phone is working identically to yours - I've done what you say and guess what!? Widget stays
What I was trying to say, is that this problem will show up if you listen to music and then kill the music task while listening. So my suggestion was to put the music task in the ignore list. If the music task doesn't get killed, there will most likely not be any problems like the one he describes. Hope this was an understandable way to say it...He wants it to go away, not stay.

Very happy for you that your phone doesn't suck like mine - now if anyone is able to offer some polite civil help in the manner I've been accustomed to in these forums it would be much appreciated. There is something fundamentally wrong with the way my music player is closing as the lockscreen widget remains displaying the same track and wont respond if I try to resume play - in fact if I re-launch the player and put a new track on, the lockscreen widget remains "stuck" showing the previous track. Only a reboot will clear this so I will obviously have to delve deeper.Well your phone sucks.
Been using music alot today and decided to test what made it go away, have a list.
-Pausing music from the lockscreen and then relocking the phone.
-Pausing the music from the music widget on the Home Screen.
-Pausing music from within the music app.
All works.

Can I ask: is your lockscreen music widget WAY out of proportion with the rest of the lockscreen?Very happy for you that your phone doesn't suck like mine - now if anyone is able to offer some polite civil help in the manner I've been accustomed to in these forums it would be much appreciated. It depends which task killer you are using - it should be clear within the menu's of the task killer. So how do I place an app on my task killer's ignore list? Thanks.
btw I have a Sprint Hero...
