Music, tell me what you use and why

please! :) The TB has Rhapsody on it, this is my first smartphone, so I feel like I am coming out of the dark age, learning all this. I see people use Pandora, I have itunes on my pc so I really know nothing about what/why I should use on my TB. And, will I be able to easily put my itunes music on here? Thanks!!

Yes its easy to put iTunes on. Easiest for me was to open ur SD card on ur computer and copy your iTunes music directly to your Music folder on ur SD card.

Yes poweramp is amazing. I am an audio junkie, so having all the little options is awesome!

I use Pandora all the time and Mixzing for my mp3s- has lockscreen widget, downloads album art and is free!

I use audio galaxy it allows me to stream all the music on my mac/pc to my phone over 3g/4g and its free, i use it everyday. I like it because I don't have to put any of the music on my phone leaving all that space for other things.

I use the native music app, and then transfer over my songs that are ripped as .wav files.

I'm a little bit of an audiophile.

I get my music on CD when I can and DRM-free MP3 when I can't. Drag-n-drop with the default HTC player. I'm digging the free MP3 of the day from Amazon, though.

The one thing I don't like about the default player is that it stops using the equalizer when you pull headphones out, but doesn't turn it back on when you go back to headphones.

I must be an idiot, I have it open but there is no music folder. Do I have to create one, if so, where do I put it?

Ok, I put it in the media folder, it's there so I assume that was right.

Yes you have to create your own music folder

I like Power Amp as my music player. Love the EQ settings. Also use Pandora when I want to stream music. As for downloading, I use MP3 Downloader.

I use Pandora for online streaming.
PowerAMP music player for music on the phone.
iSyncr is a great program which syncs your music between your phone and iTunes. Not only can you move music to your phone, but if you dl a song on your phone, it can automatically go to your iTunes next time you run iSyncr.

Shazam is great for recognizing that song you hear on the radio. I use it all the time.

Tunee Music for downloading songs individually.

For streaming music, it's all about Last.fm. I love the interface and I always use it on my computers too. For the rare times I'll listen to my own mp3s, I use the default player. I don't see any reason to switch.

Pandora is awesome for just streaming music.
I use stock player for my boatload of mp3's.
And I use the Amazon MP3 app to purchase/download new songs.

I'm using PlayerPro right now. It's got some nice eye-candy, a lot of different-sized and attractive widgets, and the killer feature for me: browse music by genre AND group within that by album.

I may try Cubed, but it'd have to be pretty amazing for me to want to switch.

Suprised nobody mentioned DoubleTwist. Awesome app w/ an accompaning desktop app for library syncing. Very similar to iTunes to an iPod, it even has AirSync available. Great app IMO

I use the stock music app. It is more than capable to handle everything as opposed to the stock music app that came with Motorola. It also has SRS WOW which is honestly the best sound enhancer I've heard vs all the other apps out there. As for downlaoding music, I use Music Online Lite and of course you gotta have soundhound cause you never know when that catchy song comes on that you gotta know the name to!

I use WinAmp. I like the UI and the seem to be on top of the updates. The most recent update allows for voice commands, "listen to ...". I don't believe the stock music player even does that.

PowerAMP. I love how it looks and everything is so fluid. However, if there is a player that will keep the damn tracks in numerical order, I'd probably switch to that ASAP.

Does anyone know of a music player that can sync the star ratings from Windows Media Player 12, (like how the star ratings carry over from itunes to ipod)?

I like Poweramp, but I just a couple things i wish it had: 1) ability to control from unlock screen like the stock player, and 2) ability to sync the star ratings.
