Root must be doin something wrong!!

try wiping dalvik cache and cache again and reboot.
what recovery do you have?

Wipe cache and dalvik cache and thats it.....
flash the zip
reboot

thats how i do it when i flash themes on King ROMS....i have had themes that dont work on some King ROMS too even though it says it does....so that may be the case with the one your trying to do...i saw there was two themes on the download page...try the other one and see if it does the same thing...
 
It looks like that theme is made for the Synergy ROM. Since you're on evolvedroms 3.0 sense, it probably won't work -- and even if it somehow does, it'll cause problems. Always make sure the theme you are using is compatible with your ROM.
 
that brings up a good point. you really need to read what your flashing before you do it. i had some guy flash a rom for the incredible and it bricked his phone. so you guys need to pay attention on what your are flashing. read the changelogs and any special instructions that go with it.

duuhhh, good point lol...i figured he was using the synergy rom lol....if you want to get into the whole themes n what not, then use a King Rom....they by far have the most themes i've seen for any ROM.....Kinged-Shooter has quite a few themes you can flash
