Root My Ally

So I have used SuperOneClickv1.6.5-ShortFuse to root my droid. After that, I put superuser on it, and TitaniumBackup to remove some of my bloatware. I installed a custom menu UI.

At this point I just want to install that Velocity 1 thing, but I don't know how to get my fastboot back and then install a custom rom or whatever that is.

Any advice?

I'm still new, but I flashed Velocity 1.0 and I love it! What I did was download ROM Manager and flashed the Amon RA recovery. Then I downloaded the Velocity 1.0 zip and flashed from recovery menu.

EDIT: I also overclocked my phone too. Highly reccomended. Here.
