Root My backup pro or titanium backup pro

Has anyone tried my backup pro? How does it compare to titanium pro? Does it run well on the Optimus v? (This is a device specific question) I have a credit from Amazon but I don't see anything I want so I thought I'd give it a try if I get good feedback.

I'm not worried about online space more like functions like batch restores, filters, settings backup things like that

I have MyBackup Pro, I prefer it to Titanium.
It's not as powerful, but much simpler and you know what you are backing up without trying to decipher android cryptic codes.

I dumped Titanium when I thought I was restoring an alarm clock setting and was instead restoring some other setting that was wrecking havok with my phones 3g settings.

Titanium is great, it can do some amazing things, but it ca also bite you in the butt. If all you want is a good simple backup, Mybackup Pro is the better way to go.

I got tired of it freezing on installing apps. Would do it every now and then with this app or that.
I wound up buying the pro version of Root Uninstaller. It auto save's an apk right when you download it. It save's all versions that have been installed to your phone. If you have a problem with an update just delete and go back to the older version. It doesn't save app data though, so if you play a lot of games it's not the app for you.

There is now a free version called "Fast Uninstaller&Installer".

Will "MyBackup" pro save app data?

Mybackup Pro saves app data and APK's. It also does sms, mms, calendar, alarms, settings, contacts, call log... and more, all labeled exactly in that manner.

If you are rooted you can use Mybackup Root for free, the only difference between it and Pro that I could see in my brief use of it, is an advertisement when you start it.

The only problem I have seen is it's not really fast, and sometimes you have to install APK's and then install the data in a second step, but that is an issue with the app, not the backup. I saw the same with some apps using Titanium.
