Help My evo is SLOW.

Like Realllllly slow....the Internet and the apps that use the Internet are extremely slow....not lag like from screen to screen but actual Internet speed..I feel like I'm using 1995 dial up Internet....my TD bank app, my yahoo mail takes like at least 10-15 seconds to load and show a normal email, my words with friends is slow loading and sending, my weather big app is crazy slow and takes forever to load, my channel 6 news app loads slow...like really bad...I had a hero that was 50% faster at least....page to page internet browsing takes over 15 seconds to load, if I try to go on a forum like this..forget it, takes like 30+ seconds to load a page...is that normal? it's just really frustrating...I haven't even tried YouTube cause really I doubt it will even load a video in under a minute....what is going on? I would have never got this phone if it was really going to be this slow...
I'm usually on 3G as 4g is not that great in my area and Bluetooth, navigation, wifi, all that stuff is usually off unless I'm using it...
I have advance task killer and use it often also..

Not too sure what a lot of this means...maybe you guys can help..

277 428 MB. Says I've used 150MB of Internet storage
7.1 7.4 GB. Says I've used 265GB on SD card
CPU varies from 10-20%
Ram 142MB/415MB
 
We need to make this post an example in the EVO 3D task manager forum and WHY NOT TO USE A TASK KILLER.

You need to uninstall your automatic task killer then reboot your phone.
 
Also, make sure you're not running any live wallpapers.

Don't know about weather bug personally, but some weather apps can get invasive. If problems persist after advice here, maybe uninstall that one, assess performance, and then re-install if it's not guilty of anything.
 
I will check back for an update. That task killer has nothing to do with your slow internet speeds.

Continue to test it out. Check out the fix 3g post linked in my signature. Remove the proxy settings, update prl and then update your profile.

What does a PRL have to do with your 3G speeds? A PRL tells a phone where towers are located for a specific region for #1. Has nothing to do with the speeds you are getting.
