My honor 10 lite wifi is dodgy

I've had 2 honor 10 lite phones and both of them have the same WiFi issue, they'll be connected for a few minutes then the download and upload speed will both go to 0mbps, is this just how the phone is made or is there a fix to this? All other phones in my house are on the same WiFi and they all work fine.
 
Have you enabled Developers Options?

If not, do so.
I don't have your device, so maybe look that up with your browser.

Find the three items in the screenshot below, and be sure that they are off.

Aggressive Wi-Fi To Mobile Handover

Always Allow Wi-Fi Roam Scans

Mobile Data Always Active

Of course, your device may differ, so this is a basic outline.

It just sounds like your phone is trying to switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data.

I have developer options on but I dont have those options
