Help My Indulge is acting retarted!!!

So about a day a go, my Indulge stopped giving me any 4G. Metro cant find out whats wrong. Ive updated PRL ive done that programming to make sure it has the right towers and nothing. Ive spent about 2 hours with Metro "IT" And they cant resolve it after resetting my phone 2 times. I went to the Store, the guy there had no idea, told me thats never happened.. btw i dont get any network when i turn off and reboot it.. I have to click airplane mode and back out of it so i can then get regular stupid 1x. Anyways, The phone was purched on the 10th of Feb. I went back on the 9th. So they are giving me a free replacement. But i have to wait til Wed. BAH.

Sounds weird.
But I think their is a way to fix it.
When I first got my phone, about 30 minutes after I walked out of the store, I notice 4g was not on and would not come on no matter what I did. ( I already knew about the LTE Functionality Test tip at the time).
So I went back to the store, one of the backstore employees took the phone from the person that was trying to "fix" it, did something to it in like 15 seconds max, and handed it to me. Amazingly, 4g was just chumming along then.
I asked him to PLEASE tell me what he did, but he just laughed me off, and went around to the back of the store again. :(

You thought you were the only one even when I posted that mine was rebooting just like yours? Well I forgot you tend to like to reply to your own threads and have conversations with yourself so perhaps you didn't read my replies.

I did some searching on other forums on here and this android reboot thing seems to be a common issue on a bunch of phones...especially samsung galaxy s phones.

Whoa that was harsh.....

......while smashing his costley phone into tiny fragments thin grinding it to dust with the heel of his weatherd boot.

Have you tried this?

Create an account/login to your account on metropcs.com and verify that you are on the $50 or $60 4G plan. If you are, click on "Change my Phone" and enter all the esn info and all that again (you shouldn't be charged for this cause you already paid for this phone's esn when you bought it), and then follow all the steps and activate it again.

Once all of that is done...you're reactivated the phone and have verified you're on the 4G plan and not a regular smarpthone plan...turn off your phone and turn it back on and check and see if your 4G works.

Oh and go outside too cause LTE reception is weaker indoors. I have found very few dead zones here in Miami.

I think I EffEd up ... Yesterday I finally figured out how to blue tooth the contacts from my Code to My Indulge.( Just needed to make the indulge visible, since both devises had the same name. duh)any who.. Now when I try to open my contacts I get this error message - SORRY!The process android. process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Force close - any one know how to fix that?? It is really a Pain not being able to scroll through my contacts

Turn on airplane mode just to be safe, and then turn off the phone. Power it back on and hopefully you should be good to go. I am thinking android is just acting up..

actually a lot of things dont work and ill have to restart the phone to get them to work. if i go from 4g to wifi or visa versa i have to restart for anything to work.

I think this goes here due to the subject of the thread..

Some info:I got the version update about 2 months ago(area code 586) & for the last 2-3 weeks my phone has been crashing almost relentlessly. It's not rooted either. Been curious about it but simply do not have the know how/nuts to do it. So I've simply been following the posts to see if there's a 4G toggle mainly because I figure it'll be faster than using AnyCut, which I'll note has saved my battery life tremendously!) but I still don't want to mess with it that deeply. I just want my phone to work for more than a few days without seeing it 'force close' a bunch of apps in a row. :(

The only thing that has stopped it from crashing all the time is before it, or I, reset it to 'factory settings' is by going to Settings > Privacy > & unclick both these boxes Back Up My Data & Auto Restore. It erases my phones setting info from the Google servers & tells me this is going to happen, which I figure so what-it's crashing & force closing so much stuff its unusable until it/I resets the thing.

I still have all my contacts saved to Google so they get put back but I have to put everything else back the way I want it which isn't much other than moving all the BS Metro-Apps to a 4th page-ALL 16 of them! Seriously?
But either way, it goes into some loop of TwiLauncher has crashed, Swype has crashed & maybe a couple more apps that need to 'Force Close'... So I restart & there's always a chance that it simply resets to factory & everything is back like when I first turned the phone on:home page full of app-shortcuts, all 7 pages, etc. It hadn't done this for about 3-4 days until today. Not again!!!

I'd tried going to metro corp store last week while this 'force close' business was happening but it restarted while inline & the guy was like 'you have to close all these running apps' & when I asked him 'aren't those supposed to run because that's what makes the phone "smart"? he said & I Quote "YOU JUST HAVE TO GET USED TO IT". WTFF :( Any ideas because I am losing patience with this thing. I just did a full reset on it using Power button + R on the manual keyboard.

TL'DR? Keeps 'Force Closing' Twi-Launcher Swipe, Email, etc.. Help?
