Root My motion is a lg-p970!? Wtf?

Well now im just completely confused, i upgraded to software version f about a week ago, i noticed my 4g was real slow but couldnt figure it out, then yesterday i tried to download an app from the play store that ive had before, well i couldnt find it, thats when i noticed my phone says its a LG-P970, now the only thing i have done is root, i did the software upgrade with my laptop and LG Mobile Support Tool shows my phone as a MS770 so im confused, any one else ever run into this?

You now have an overpowered lg optimus black. Theres been alot of issues with the new firmware, best advice would be to downgrade back to an older firmware
 
The optimus line was balance addition,it has no noticable effect on the phone. On a hardware level it seems to do something. Turn it off and your battery dies a little quicker. ._.

That's strange...you upgrade and it changed model number...someone with an actual P970 bricked when upgrading from Gingerbread to ICS.......O.o
