Help My phone keeps sending multiple texts of one text to one recipient !

so i've had this phone for about a year now and its great and all, but when i text, my friends say that im sending multiple texts of the same text. is something wrong with the phone or do i have some sort of setting checked that does this ? please helppp

Do you use the stock messaging app or another one?

Are they getting two copies of it or more?

i use the stock messaging app. the copies vary really. people say i send two, then the next time i send eight, then the next minute i send six. i really dont know how many are being sent.

I used to have this problem. I think it started when Verizon bought Unicel. Then it stopped. I never did figure out the cause but I don't think it is your phone.
