He's not proceeding with any sort of attempt to play this year. It's difficult to comprehend how the man can toss that sort of income out the window. And how can he be as good as his is without a love for the game? Players, such as Tom Brady, have nothing to prove and surely have a nice nest egg laid aside for his future. All the accolades any player could ever dream to receive and will forever be enshrined in the NFL Hall for future generations to marvel at his talent. Yet, he still plays the game. My guess is he loves to play. And I've always thought loving what you do is a big part of being that talented.
