IMHO, Verizon has gotten better over time. I ordered the vCast music phone just before the enV came out. Two weeks later I wanted to change phones as I didn't know the vx9800 wouldn't support stereo bluetooth, and was not allowed to exchange. I raised H. E. double hockey sticks and was given 4 months of extra minutes because of the misleading information I got from the phone rep, and a chance to get $100 off the month to month price for the enV. Now they're giving customers a whole month to exchange, which I think is great.
I probably would have returned my phone if it had a dead pixel as well. If I noticed that the second phone lagged a lot, I probably would assume the manufacturer is garbage and would have switched to an LG or something. If I was dead set on getting the Droid, even after all of those problems, I would have returned to the store with a flashlight and magnifying glass to inspect every inch of a third Droid... and played with the phone for awhile before walking out the door.
"Fool me once..... shame on you. Fool me... fool me... can't get fooled again."
