My wife and her X

It's not what you think. I just got her the Droid X and she can't put it down. She really loves it. Her old phones was the Touch Pro 2. Was a good phone but out dated. Now I can't get her off the damn thing. She is always on facebook or the web. Showed her what swype was and she thinks it's great. I think I've created a monster. Thats ok. Thats why I got it for her.

I'm in the same situation as you. My wife had the LG Ally, she really likes a physical keyboard, but after 3 returns for faulty phones, I talked her into using her upgrade to get an X (which I found on Ebay for $10 w/ free overnight shipping). She loves the thing. I've already rooted it for her, but I taught her as I did it so she could then do it herself if need be.

That's cool. Normally my wife doesn't get into the tech stuff, she has a feature phone and is fine with it. ...then she got her hands on my nook color.
Bye nook color it was fun while it lasted. :(
That's okay, I still have the xoom. I keep it hidden from her now! :D

Don't tell her about words with friends or angry birds. My wife knows about them. ;)

Words with friends was fun when it started...

Angry birds she lost interest in though.

For whatever reason I like Plants vs Zombies. I grabbed that when it was free on Amazon app store and have been playing it since.

My wife used to ask if she could borrow my X, then she'd still be playing with it when I went to bed, until it died, then she'd plug it into the charger and go to bed.

I bought her a Nook Color, installed CM7 on it and now I've got my phone back again.

She learned from her mother, "what's mine is mine and what's his (me) is mine". :D
