Root myn's rls4 and voicemail notification

So i just flashed over to myn's and during one of the few reboots involved in doing various things i got a voicemail and instead of coming into my visual voicemail it was left in the old-style call-in voicemail. i got the notification on my notification bar, called in to check the message and deleted it but the notification won't go away.

new voicemails come into my visual vm and when i delete them the notification disappears instantly... so that's all fine..

anyone know how to clear that out?
 
This one has survived 12 hours and multiple restarts. I have even reflashed myn's after a cache/dalvik wipe and it's still there...

maybe i'll just have to do a full wipe? this is kind of annoying.
 
have you tried to manually "clear notification" in the voicemail menu and have you tried to update prl and data?

If you're talking about in visual voicemail, I couldn't find the setting. I called in and pressed whatever number to get to settings, and it says for notification settings press 3. So I did, then it says "To review your settings press 4, to return to the menu press *" but when I press 4 it just repeats that sentence.

In my system updates I just have "Update PRL" and "Update profile". Last night I updated the profile, I didn't see what PRL would do with this (but then again, I know so little about the intricacies of this device!). I just updated both again and the notification is still there. How do you update data? That's not in my system updates.
 
problem is still occurring! the voicemail notification keeps popping back up every couple hours and I have to clear it manually... it's getting really annoying. i think i might just do a wipe unless someone knows an easy fix for this problem :/

anyone know how to make this stop?


edit: this has persisted despite a data wipe and upgrade to myn's rls5. it's happening more frequently it seems.
