Would it be better if I just change to tmo prepaid
It'll use tmobiles LTE towers that have the metro MCC-MNC running, 311-660 if not it probably won't connect
August for Sacramento? That's way too long for me lol

Know that but he was just asking about LTEShould also work on T-Mobiles HSPA/HSPA+ towers too.
the way around that is to get the imei number from a lte phone and use that to provision the sim.
True but put it this way, borrow a friends lte phone, could be att could be tmo dont matter, as long as its unlocked of course, take it into the store get the sim put in and set up, take note yourself if needed of the apn and such.Except for the we want you and your phone in front of us in the store for BYOD part. Nips that little way around there right in the bud.
[EDIT] Assuming of course that you don't have your own Metro Ninja.

go home grab your nexus 4 put the sim in change/create the right apn and woohoo your good to go.
And the best part your friend can still use their phone they just put their sim back in and go.
and if they want to use it on metro they can too, just might need to go to a different metro store.
sim cards are not locked to the phone.
With this being said can I use my old metro SIM card and just stick it into my new nexus 4 and set it up that way?
what type of SIM card am i looking for?
Metro byod comes to Sacramento ca in August. So I still have a while but some ghetto places around here will flash Abby gsm phone to metro but some don't get mms or data and all I know it's I want data lol
Can't flash GSM phones. Probably the old metroFLASH
Yea now that you mention it I believe you're right but Damn I'm lost I'm trying to figure this out so I can have a good phone on metros service. I may have to just make the switch to tmo if I can't figure this out
Just have this strange feeling the HTC One Mini is coming to metro (should google that one)I am seriously curious, nearly concerned about what midrange phones Metro has coming. I haven't heard of anything and I try to pay attention. The L9 isn't midrange to me. Heck, the guts in the Motion stomp the juice out of those in the L9.
Seems ALL of the choices (new/used) that can get all the different teats are pricey.
