Root Nand unlocked?

Is there a quick and easy way to find out if the NAND is unlocked?

I just rooted last night from the newest OTA and followed the steps at xda: {ROOT GUIDE} 1.47.651.1 ROOT method - xda-developers

Will NAND be unlocked already? Is there a test to do to be sure it is just for future curiosity?

I may have found the answer at xda:

or try to mount the card: (*note, this command only works from recovery. If you are inside the android OS you have to use adb remount. This is also how you test system r/w access, which is what this whole process gives you

adb shell mount /sdcard

if I understand this right, do I just boot my phone, plug it in to the pc, and run this adb command. If its sucessful then I am good to go?

No, you are reading the post incorrectly. Being "NAND unlocked" means you have the ability to mount /system as r/w (not /sdcard ... /sdcard is r/w out of the box ... otherwise, how could you put files on it???).

Dunno. Figured out when i could backup and restore to nandroid that I had access.

But I dunno if you're understanding what i was asking. I understand I could read and write to the sdcard.
