Root Nandroid restore

I'm new to this. I rooted my phone no problem. I ran the unrevoked reflash no problem. I did a nand backup no problem. My question is about restoring. If I want to try an undervolt or overclock kernel, which restore option would I use, regular or advanced? Would anything else have to be restored like apps or contacts? I already have titanium backup as well.

I flashed the low voltage kernal and then returned to stock. I just used the regular restore option, took about 7-10 minutes to complete so be patient.

I also use Titanium and since I'd installed some apps and updates after flashing, I redownloaded it from the market and then used it to restore all user apps. Worked like a champ.
