Help "National Access C0verage not Available"

What exactly does this mean? I have been trying to download a txt from of friend for about three days time this is all I get.
 
Sounds like you're in one of the few dead spots where Verizon isn't the best carrier choice to use. Is this your first Verizon device? If not, and if your other Verizon phones have recieved good signal reception then I'd suggest an exchange for another DX. The radio in the Droid X should recieve as well or better than most any other Verizon device, so if you're experiencing less than acceptable reception out of it the radio might be bad.

If not, then you may have to switch to another carrier/device in your area.
 
The reason I have Verizon is because it is the best coverage in my area. I've been with them for about 7 years now. Never had a problem with it before until about 3-4 weeks ago. It sends and recieves regular messgages just fine, Only the things that have a download button have been giving me trouble.
 
Ive been having the same problem. What I did was toggle airplane mode on/off, but it still took a few more tries after that. It really is an annoying problem, especially when receiving a MMS should be as easy as clicking download. I havent seen any permanent fixes but im going to keep looking
