Help Native screenshot?

JWhipple · Sep 30, 2011

Apparently 2.3.4 has a native ability to take screenshots by holding power then pressing Home before the power menu comes up. Has anyone been able to make this work? Or maybe a different combination on the Esteem ?

Not on the esteem, but on 2.3.4 on the Ascend you just hold the power button and on that menu there is a 'Take Screenshot' option. Not sure if it is just with CM7 honestly.. Was just strolling around these forums reading up on the Esteem..

Hi, after rooting my LG Esteem, I was able to take screenshots using Screenshot from Kastor Soft. Downloaded it for free from the Android Market.

Fuzzy13 · Apr 1, 2012

I use screenshot it.

THIS POST however DOES NOT work.

Most new Androids have this feature, including the LG Connect. Don't know why our Esteem can't do it.
