Neat ROM

I came from NEAT ROM LSJ with Dorimanx kernel and so I used Hawker's GS2KernelWiper to clear any scripts, etc; and just flashed the new NEAT ROM, official, release, XXLS8, over the top. No problems what-so-ever. Probably one of the easiest updates I've ever done. :)

I have to say, that I cannot tell the difference between LSJ and LS8 superficially. Running the new PhilZ 4.00b22 kernel that comes with NEAT LS8 and have enabled Power Saving in Settings. Camera and video working/recording is fine. Too early to say about battery, obviously. Also need to test the new modem.
 
Yesss!! The Neat Lite is available! Yes, yes, yes, yes, I've been waiting for this one :)
I think I'm going for the full wipe without backing up and restoring via Titanium (I use Google for my contacts etc), so I have as clean a phone as possible.
 
Aroma Mods for LS8 Please. :D

What I want to see:
- TW Wallpaper Scrolling
- Ink Effects
- Transparent Multiwindow
- Volume Keys as Camera Button
- Install removed apps from Aroma(Choose w/c one you want)
- Jelly Bean Font as Default Font
- The ones that are usually inside sale's aroma mods
 
Dori 7.44 has been working on LS8 for quite a while actually.
Look at the OP in the Dori XDA thread

(It really hurts to have to say that! :( )

My original post for Dori 7.44, here, contained a word for word copy of Dori's changelog at that time.

However, very shortly after that, he has amended the same post to include the LS8 release, here.

I have no digital clock widget on lite version. Plenty of better alternatives on Play. Try Zoopa widget. Very customizable.

The latest Jeboo v1.1f rebase is reported to work fine with the recent JB release. Not tried it myself though. Jeboo is to release a new version once he has his hands on the latest source.
 
OT question. Who ever uses the weather widget? I mean surely its just as quick to look outside the window or see if your feet are dry or wet. Ive never understood the point of them.
