Neat ROM

I'm surprised. As a fellow Brit I'm sure he doesn't need a widget to tell him if he is:

A Cold
B Wet
C Both of the above
 
With these toggle mods, does each one that I flash completely overwrite the last, leaving behind no trace of the last?

There is a green circle toggle mod out for ls8 already which I would like to try. I do like Hawkers blue circle mod though and will overwrite the green mod with it. Does it install cleanly over the top?

I use a combined clock and weather widget so that I can immediately access the forecast for Glos. airport as most forecasts are given from the other side of the hills at Little Rissington, which bears no resemblance to the weather here. See screenshots.

NEAT ROM LS8 + transparent status bar, blue circle battery, blue wi-fi icon, centred clock and configurable, blue, notification bar widgets.

Luckily for me... the LSJ version works on LS8. No more grovelling to Hawker...

For those who don't know, Hawker has just been anointed (by me, albeit unwittingly) as Gandalf over at the XDA :) Yes hawker, you can thank me now for your promotion.. Ironass, hawker has just posted a warning (in true Gandalf Stormcrow style), on the xda that it is not wise to flash LSJ mods on LS8... I am in the same boat as you though..

... and he is quite right to do so and I agree with him wholeheartedly. However, since he made the mod for me and as my screenshots demonstrate, this is the exception that proves the rule my little Gollum! ;)
 
Just flashed Lite version (no wipe) and as far as now all working fine :)

ps salesale reloaded mod for LS8 pls :)

It actually works faster than leak. More smooth... thats firts impressions.
 
Don't Know If Its Been My Usage Today(Quite A Bit Different From NormaL) But I Have Managed Almost 3.5 Hrs Screen Time(49% Of My Usage) And 30 Mins Of Calls.... Over A Period Of 12 Hrs, Taking Battery To 15%

This For Me Is Impressive, Especially As I'm Only Using Stock Kernel That Came With Neat Li, I Did Put Power Saving On, But Not Until 80%!!!!


As If You Needed It, But Thanks Again For unsurprisingly Another Great Job.

I Know Othe Kernels Are Working With Ls8, But Is It Advisable To Use Them Yet?

Also Does Anyone Have A List Of Things Missing From This, That Were Present In Lsj? I'm Assuming The Direct Dial(Just Lift Phone To Ear) Doesn't Work.

I Only Tried It Once, And Have Had A Busy Day(Baby Breach, Waters Broke 4Weeks4days Early, Becoming A Dad Monday If Nothing Else Changes!) So Never Got Doing It Again!

Look Forward To Seeing All Mods That Come...Hopefully With An Android Battery Icon In One(Hint Hint :-P ) ;-)

If you are mistaking Aragorn for Gollum, you seriously need to visit your optometrist, mate ;) :D
 
I Use Swype, But Its An Old Version Rather Than Beta(Stock Ics Version I Think) And It Doesn't Always Play Properly, sometimesDoesn'tAuto Space, LikeNow Strangely, And If I Delete One Letter And Change It, It Will CapitalisE It :-P

You Can Tell If I'm Using The Nexus Or Laptop ;-)
 
Oh And Its Also From Using An Old Version Of Dolphin That Allows Flash To Work, It Doesn't Do It In Texts Or On Facebook App, Have Never Been A Fan Of Tapatalk, But Might Try It Again.Lol
 
24 hours into Neat Lite and the battery, on stock kernel, is greatly improved over my experience on LSJ and dorimanx. Drain is 2.2% per hour, with minimal use compared to 5% on LSJ.

I've only just noticed that flashlight is working on LS8 toggles! :)

It certainly wasn't working on LSJ. :(

A very useful feature for me. Particularly as it's Burns Night tonight and we may have to walk back from the pub.

I wish I had a transparent Status bar though... 2 x sets of rugby tickets + 10 pints of Guinness + Emelia Fox's number and, "Hawker is a babe magnet!", should have covered it.
