I always that thought the staggered icon was to get you into the "Settings" menu. You are truly a scholar! :D

Still get the issue opening gallery, that is only on philz kernel, siyah sorts that problem.

Now when I try to send something over Bluetooth it fails and gives the reason as sd card error.Any other ideas people?
 
:-(nope still no luck...had to flash it via Odin because the phone wouldn't download with siyah, now back on philz I can't access the gallery app again.
Any other ideas? It's as if there is an internal sd card problem, should I try mounting it in recovery or should I flash stock lss and see if the issues occur there?

i have exactly the same problem,formatted SD card and put LSJ neatrom and still cannot access gallery,if any help i can get to my images through My files app.. this is annoying though:mad:
 
Siyah will allow access to the gallery app.

I'm having the problem with not being able to download via Bluetooth or WiFi direct etc, hell it didn't let me download philz kernel.

IFlashed stock Rom lss but that made no difference at all. So I'veRe rooted with siyah and just flashed neat lss again. Doubt there will be any difference but let's see....lol

Yes, flash stock and see. im not sure whats the problem. have you a ".nomedia" file inside the DCIM folder?

I have exactly the same problem,no gallery,formatted sd card and put LSJ Neatrom back on and exactly the same problem occurring,:mad:
 
Can I just throw this into the mix sntaylor. Run it up the flagpole and see who salutes it...

Only applies if you have used the Dorimanx kernel v7 or v8...

I found problems with the Dorimanx kernels, as did Twinn I believe, in that it screwed with the sdcard and extsdcard locations, see, here.

In the end, I went right back to Calvo1's thread, here, and flashed the LSJ leaked ROM on a vanilla install and then rooted it and flashed NEAT ROM.

Nowadays, I always make a nandroid before flashing Dorimanx.

I don't know if it will help you mate... but it worked for me.
 
Will give it a go later thanks, I was on dorimanx when I made the initial wipes that caused me to be in the situation I'm in....shall go over them after some dinner and see what I can do :-)

Thats what happened. But when i switched to Siyah everything went back to normal. Havent tried Dori since then. I`m curently on Apolo 4.5 Regular with cpu max@800mhz and it really looks promising in terms of battery life. Need few more days for testing :)
 
Well after loads and loads of downloading if different stock Roms
etc.....I have finally managed to get it back into a proper working order.

Lsj did not do it though :-( I actually had to download stock o2 ics (lpd) after doing my tests that had previously failed(gallery opening and sending picture over Bluetooth to the s2) it is in good writing order. As I signed in on Mrs account it is currently restoring her apps. Once that is done I will flash siyah 5.0.1 do another nandroid (tried restoring a previous ics one and it failed!) Then flash neat Rom lss :-)

Thanks again to everyone who has tried to help it is muchly appreciated, especially to sasa for the time he took trying to help me out :-)
 
I've gotta admit,I forgot just how big an improvement the jelly bean update is on ics!

On another note, is there an aroma mod available for lss or is the previous reloaded one fine? Either that or is anyone able to make pink toggles and if possible pink android battery icon? Lol just a little bit much ;-)

Ive been running Build: [FONT=arial, sans-serif]NeatROM_Lite_v4.0 XXLSJ GS2 [/FONT][FONT=arial, sans-serif]for quite a while now But I am I think ( In my tired state, not remembering turning it off ) I'm having alarm problems where the alarm doesn't seem to be working. Is it me, has this been fixed and which is the next recommended upgrade. Other wise GREAT rom.

I started having that problem with lsj too I believe, not sure if lss has many compatible mods but it or lsn are both great shouts!
 
Nope no problems with it, but then I'm not really using it currently, and nor is the Mrs :-( she really doesn't like change, one minor issue when changing the phones over and she said no! Lol
 
I've tried nearly all the versions of Neatrom JB as they have been released. TBH they have all worked very well. I did have an issue a while back but it was due to flashing the wrong mods, which I was then unable to remove. Even reflashing the rom didn't get rid of it. Had to do a wipe in the end. Other than this I have really enjoyed Neatrom. I find it very reliable and stable. Good battery life and everything works fine. It is a huge improvement over previous releases of Android for the S2.
 
Does anyone have LSS working with the Reloaded mod? LSN worked with Reloaded even though it wasn't directly supported... I think
