My first time rooting was much like yours, except - it was 78 (count 'em) 78 steps long - and I'd thought at several points like yours I'd tanked my investment.
It's going to be fine. Trust me.
Here's what we'll do - you'll step back for a while, go to your happy place - we need you there because only in your calm and happy place do any of us avoid simple human errors.
This was advice given me long ago on rooting and trust me, it works.
While you're doing that, I'm going to need a bit more time to regroup things elsewhere, catch up here and engage a bit more.
So - hang tight, it's all going to be good.
