Help need advice on using sprints wifi to tether

ok today im leaving to orlando for a week, orlando has 4g and the hotel im staying at is charging crazy prices for their wifi. so can i use sprints 4g or 3g and use my evo to teather it to my laptop. thanks and im not rooted i have a month free of hotspot

Yes it's possible. there are a few ways to do it. through Sprint's hotspot (charges may apply). Wireless tether with root (takes some knowledge of how to root). PDAnet? (not sure if this works). Do a search on here and you'll see plenty of tethering threads.

Pda net works anf is pretty easy to use and free as long as you arent trying to access secure websites.

if it is in fact activated simply turn it on in the menu..and look for the connection in manage connections on your laptop
