Need an extra battery or two. Any recent reviews or recommendations?

Bought myself one of these nifty things a few months ago. Not only will it charge my phone, but the batteries inside of it are rechargeable.. so it recharges it's own batteries lol.

What I like about it is in a pinch you can just walk into the nearest store and buy a pack of AA batteries. Otherwise I use it with high capacity rechargeable batteries.

Count me as someone who had very good luck with one eBay vendor from Hong Kong. He has a 98.9% customer satisfaction rating so I am apparently not alone

Last May I bought two spare batteries and an external charger from him for less than $15.00, including shipping. They arrived in less than ten days and have worked just fine ever since. I have never checked to see exactly how long the batteries hold a charge hut they have been satisfactory. Anyway, with two spares and a charger, I have never had a problem running out of juice.

There is probably more than one vendor from Hong Kong selling on eBay. This is the one I used:
