Help Need Android Experts -Question about Droid X

Lurker
My boyfriend has the Droid X and he knows how to work it well. He's constantly moding it.

But he won't answer me why for the last week when I call him it goes straight to voicemail. He says he doesn't get any of my calls and it won't stop. Everyone is saying it means I am blocked but he says I'm not. I was wondering if anybody knows anything about this because he doesn't seem to care or be concerned but it's kind of annoying having to text him and say "call me" because I can't call him.

his phone doesn't ring at all when I call, as far as I know he is not notified.

I'm beginning to get suspicious that he does have me blocked but I don't see why he would do that, because we are pretty close. It just doesn't make sense and I would like it to.

Has anybody else had a similar problem or can explain this.

Does it ring even once? What it sounds like to me is that he has the ringer off, and for whatever reason as soon as he sees you're calling, he hits ignor. That's just what it sounds like to me. I've never blocked anybody, or been blocked, so I can't say whether or not it sounds like that's what he's done.

All I know is that when people call me that I don't want to talk to I just hit 'ignor' and it sends them straight to voicemail. But I think it must ring at least like once probably. Not really sure. So you've called his phone while sitting right next to him and his phone does nothing? And you've seen that it does nothing?

Maybe he accidentally blocked you by mistake?

Settings > Sound Settings

Check and see if his ringer volume's down. It's true that might be obvious but you never know

Have him change your contact name. If he has your contact saved as Jane Doe, have him change it to Jane, etc. If you were accidentally placed on an ignore or blocked list, that should correct it.

Actually, in Contacts, the very last option that you can edit on any contact's page has a check box for "Send straight to Voicemail". Maybe he accidentally checked that box when he set your contact listing up on his phone??? If that's the case, I think he still should get a notification that you called though.

Maybe he doesn't want his girlfriend's name coming up on his phone when he's with his wife?
