Root [Need help] 3G and MMS on OPV

So awhile back I bricked my Optimus v pretty badly. Didn't have a custom rom/recovery. wouldn't boot past the Virgin Mobile slash screen. So I used a LS670ZVD.cab and flashed the sprint firmware on it. I can still make calls, i'm just looking for a way to get the 3G and mms to work. I've heard of people doing it, I just can't find any guilds.
