Root Need help! Broke volume button.

So my new digitizer came in today. As I was installing it, somehow the volume up button broke. Not the actual plastic button, but the little tiny plastic piece on the volume up button that is attached to the motherboard. Does anybody by chance know if I can even get that part? I have been trying to find parts phones to see if I can just get the piece I need but havent had any luck. I work at a place where we have people that solder microscopic circuit boards all day, so if I can even just get the actual button itself I can have it replaced at my work. Does anyone know where I can get this part? If at all? Thanks in advance! :)

Welcome to AF! Not sure where you can find that part BUT if all else fails you can just take it in to Sprint.

Im not sure if theyll fix it for me though since I already took it apart to replace the digitizer. I also have it rooted. haha

Thanks for the welcome! :)

Did you ever find a solution to this? I have been trying to find parts EVO's on Ebay, etc, but had little luck. Sprint repair center was ZERO help, of course just wanted me to buy a new phone. I'm not rooted, and this is a major reason why. I pulled mine apart, and there is just a very small metal clip that hold the plastic part over the button on the board. You can take it off with a steady hand and perhaps a magnifying glass. Now all I need is just the tiny black button piece, put the clip back on, and I'm off and running. Please let me know if you found a good solution. Thank you.
