Alright so here's my rub, i tried installing cm7 and got the boot loop, so me, being the dumbass, decided to erase everything on my phone (wipe memory cleeeeen) from cwm, so now i have no rom, no working usb connection to my laptop, the only thing i have is connectivity to my computer through the bootloader screen via the fastboot oem unlock and recovery flash. ADB works but it doesnt detect my device. I have a Nexus S. Any more information can be given if necessary. Im mainly trying to push a rom to the recovery or at least the stock recovery that would restore stock 2.3.4.

So you can still boot into Clockworkmod right? Because if you can boot into recovery it's as easy as restoring a backup, or mounting your usb storage through recovery and loading a backup onto your sd card. If you can't get into recovery you would need to do a restore using Odin.

And how did you get a boot loop with CM7? Are you installing a kernel with it or what was your process? The only time i have ever experienced a boot loop was from a non compatible theme or kernel.

I always get bootloops when installing a fresh cm7 usually I would just maybe reboot or reinstall it to solve the issue

Hi, I did something similar.
I rooted my device using CWM and when I boot up holding the power and volume up button, it says LOCK STATE - UNLOCKED..Didn't create a backup (I know stooopid lol), and am stuck in clockworkmod 3.0.0.5 - cannot get back to my regular OS, plus cannot load ROMS as I get this message:

Installing update...
Wiping Cache
Extracting System : CM 7
Cleaning System
Finalizing Installation
Flashing Kernel: Netarchy CFS
assert failed: write_raw_image("/tmp/boot.img","boot")
E:Error in /sdcard/NSCollab-1.0.22.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted

Any idea how I can fix this ??
Thanks so much
