Root Need help, data speeds took a crap...

I will try to give a little backstory:

My phone was running just fine on MikFroyo 4.5 with the HTC#15 kernel, 1.77_003 PRI, 01115 PRL, and 2.15.00.11.19 baseband. I have been using that for a few months now. Last night, I decided to try a Virus ROM. I made a nandroid, then I flashed the ROM and flashed the GFX fix. I don't think I took my time with restoring apps and data and the phone didn't quite run right. Rather than try to fix it then, I decided to go ahead and restore my nandroid and possibly try again at a different time.

Today, I start using my phone with my nandroid backup and have no issues. It runs fine and data speeds are good (3G) up until about noon today. I all of a sudden can't use TuneIn Radio and trying to pull up webpages takes FOREVER. Half of the time, the page wouldn't even load. This evening, it has been hit or miss. When it works, it seems normal, when it doesn't, pages take forever to load again.

I did the "fix your 3G speeds" and didn't get any positive results. Speedtests now are showing about 1.4 down and .15 up, but loading webpages don't always suggest that is happening.

What sort of suggestions does everyone have for fixing this? It is weird that it worked, then it didn't without any changes in between.

Before anything, make sure you call sprint and find out if you have any towers down or being fixed in your area.
 
also, if you have adfree..check that your hosts file is up to date and applied

also try a battery pull.
 
Are you in Texas? I saw a thread yesterday that some folks down there were having problems with data service. I'm on my phone or I'd post a link to that thread.
 
Mine was doing all of that yesterday too. I live south of Houston. There was definitely something going on yesterday but all is well today.
 
What everybody else said....I am South of Houston as well and it took a dump right around 1pm and came back around 6pm. I had a voicemail that wouldn't even load...it was pending for 5 hours....and then when it finally loaded I knew data services were back.
 
Alas, I am in Texas and things appear to be just fine today. Sorry for the premature thread. I gave it about 11 hours and tried what I knew how to do. Thanks for the replies.
