Help need help finding camera files -PLEASE-

I'm having trouble sending pictures taken with the stock camera app to my macbook pro via bluetooth (I have done this successfully earlier today, so I'm at a loss as to what's wrong).

So, I'm trying to find the photos with Astro file manager and the Files app, as well as a usb connection to the mac.

I cannot find these files. Would someone please help me? It's driving me nuts!

In Astro, you should find them in /mnt/sdcard-ext/DCIM/Camera

It can be very confusing. There are a collection of great camera apps and they can stor images in different locations.

Get a copy of QuickPic from ... https://market.android.com/details?...51bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5hbGVuc3cuUGljRm9sZGVyIl0 ... it will access ALL the images on your Bionic and lists ALL the folders where they are located. It also gives the full path name to each folder.

This app (for me) manages the images the say I think about them as opposed to the way Gallery does it.

doogald, you were right the first time, for me, in sdcard-ext. I didn't see them because I have pics from my old droid which named them beginning with IMG, and then this droid begins with the year. My newest pics were buried in the middle of the list of images, and I figured out how to sort them properly so newest would now be on top.

I've spent hours trying to figure this out. Sheesh!

Thanks for your help!

In addition, I had to reboot the phone to get the bluetooth transfer to work right again. It was connecting to the mac ok, but the transfer was failing.

This was completely wrong - sorry. I should not have been going on memory.

They should be in /mnt/sdcard/DCIM/Camera

My apologies!

You cane set the Storage Location (output folder) in Camera so it could be either card. (A.K.A. why I like QuickPic.)

With the new QuickPic (2.0 RC) ... to find the index that I find monumentally useful ...

Select Browser Mode (left-most icon on the top right of the display)
Select Gallery list
