Help Need help having problems with zte warp

Hello i am very frustrated by the fact that i have been unable to root my zte warp (i know its posted in other threads, please let me explain). i am a NOOB, everytime i go and find root software it dosent work and appearently i need like special drivers? i am running windows 7 on my computer
basically what im asking is
1. please give me everything on how to start the rooting process (from the begining, that means first install, blah blah drivers then do this then etc...)
2.step by step instruction
3.when you say drivers does it mean when i plug my phone into the computer and it says "would you like to install software", would that be considered the drivers you keep mentioning to
4. how long will it take

i understand you have to do this clockworkmod thing, but when i downloaded that ultimate warp drive file and i started the rooting i would follow all instructions and i would get past the first 2 questions then it says

"first we will install clockworkmod recovery.
rebooting into bootloader...
* daemon not running. starting it now on port 5037*
*daemon started successfully

flashing clockworkmod rocovery...
< waiting for device >"

then my phone reboots and the little android thing stays on the screen and never leaves i need some help figuring this out..is this correct and im just impatient or what?? btw i waited about 25-30 min for it to work and usb debugging and everything is turned on
very sorry for this i would much appericiate it if you could answer my post! :)

There is a very simple method to root now. Go over to the all things root side, and find the n00b ROM. Download the ROM to your computer, put it onto your sd card (most computers have a port for sd cards now) if you don't have access to one, browse to the forum on your phone, and save it to your sd card. Then follow the steps outlined in the first post of the n00b ROM forum.

so i followed instructions and usb debugging, unknown resources where also checked, and both softwares didnt work. just want to get one thing clerified, my service provider isnt boost mobile its i wireless (if that has anything to do with it not working :S) also here are some other specs
model #n860
android version-2.3.5
kernel version-2.6.35.7-perf+zte-kernel@zdroid-SMT
SW version-N860_mvnov1.0.0b05
HW version-c4tb

ive tried updateing but when i click the update stuff it just says checking for update. please wait... and it never actually gives me an answer if theres an update or not, ive tried looking up sites that have updates i can manually install, but couldnt find any also when i downloaded and ran both CWM and TWRP when i went to install it said
--install /sdcard ...
finding update package...
opening update package...
verifying update package...
E: failed to verify whole-file signature
E: signature verification failed
installation aborted.

im not sure what im doing wrong, or if this phone can even be rooted :S

You are not going to be able to root using the methods here. These are for Boost Mobile only.:) Sorry,:( And as of right now, I dont think we have a forum for i-wireless.

dam :/ well this is just a curiosity question, but how would you go about making a software that will root android??

You can try the easy root methods from the sticky... one of our older root methods should work for you
