Root Need help rooting my 2.3.3 Evo please

I'm trying to root my new 2.3.3 Evo 4G using Revolutionary, but I keep getting stuck at one part. When I run the Revolutionary program on my pc after plugging in my evo, it does not recognize my phone. It stays stuck on "Waiting for device...". Has anyone else had this problem?

do you have any anti-virus running? do you have usb debugging on? also make sure that if you have lookout on your phone to uninstall it as well.
