Help Need help updating

There was another thread but it got moved to the root forum and dealt with things I have never heard of before.

I'm not rooted or anything special and I'm running the leaked version of froyo. What is the best way to get the update, preferably without erasing everything on my phone?

Bob,

If you feel something's moved inappropriately, just pm a mod and ask them if they'd move it back. No biggie.
