Root Need help with restoring Nandroid

[cyaiphone]

Hi Guys,

I tried this morning to restore my phone to my original nandroid back up. I get the following message and then the process stops. Does anyone know what's going on? I've restored this nandroid before once i select the nandroid to restore this is what I get:

Checking MD5 sums...
MD5 mismatch!

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Did you switch recoveries between nandroids? Clockwork mod and amon ra are not compatible.

Not sure, maybe try and wipe cache and dalvik cache.

Did you rename any folders or files on the sdcard or on the backup if you moved it to your computer? I don't know that it would matter, just a thought

yea I have deleted and renamed stuff on my sd card but I haven't touched the nandroid

I tried to restore a nandroid once on clockwork and it didn't restore right for me and I had to start all over again. I switched to amonra this weekend and switched back and forth just now 6 times and it worked great every time. I'm a believer now...

Not that that helps you restore an existing backup...
