I rooted and flashed my Evo to Metropcs then I flashed it back to Sprint. Well now the lock banner says mymetropcs.com above the bar. I have edited the banner in CDMA tools and also in QPST to no avail. Please help! I have heard about Hex editing but I would not even no where to begin nor would I know if it will work. I thank all who have helped me get this far because without you all sharing your info we would be lost in the dark. That goes for all forums and the knowledgeable willing to help. Thank you.
 
I had to change back. Data speeds were not near as fast as major networks. Voice was descent but a couple dropped calls.
 
have you read through the metro threads over on xda? I recall seeing something about fixing this over there.

and as a side note My bro works for metro here in dallas...from what I understand they never really went far with 3g...they kinda jumped right into lte and data speeds are ridiculously slow otherwise
 
Yes I have done all that I found on XDA as far as hex but that was made for the regular android screen not the evo. Thank you though. And I agree data speeds were way too slow that was th reason for switching back to Sprint. Thanks again.
