Root Need Help!!!!!! :(

My phone is not letting me put in ANY new rom(expect for a stock rom) if I do put any other rom, for example: MIUI,Swag, Cyanogen, etc. its starts up and goes to the home screen but then just goes into a boot loop and repeats. PLEASE help. and yes i always wipe data/dalvik/Cache before putting in a new rom. I'm using the amon-ra recovery. :/ and my back up wont work. only thing working is a clean stock rom.

moved you to the rooting section.

i would try and wipe everything except for the sd card. then do it three or more times then flash vr superwipe and then either restore a nandroid backup or flash a rom. going from aosp to sense requires a really clean environment.

and what does it say when you try your nandroid backups. does it just bootloop as well?

Sounds like you need to wipe more.


Wipe EVERYTHING except for you SD card 3 times(wipe SD-ext and SD-android secure) and THEN flash the VVR_Superwipe file.


Then flash your ROM.

Try Calkulin's format all Calkulin's_FORMAT_ALL.zip


Then boot to recovery

Flash Superwipe
Flash Calkulin's

Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache partition
Wipe Dalvik cache

Flash rom
Flash GApps (if AOSP rom)
Flash kernel (if you want custom kernel)
Flash darktremor's (if you want a2sd)

Reboot
