ok well as u know me and hv have been trying to improve the camcorder for the esteem and we got a hold of someone at xda but only info he can give us was this

Heres the details for video/audio bitrates, fps etc, decompile the app, java modules to edit are in bold text, recompile as an unsigned system app and test:

Video changes:

1080P SUPER_FINE_ENCODER_BITRATE 9mb to 17mb
1080P FINE_ENCODER_BITRATE 7mb to 14mb
1080P NORMAL_ENCODER_BITRATE 5mb to 11mb

720P SUPER_FINE_ENCODER_BITRATE 4mb to 13mb
720P FINE_ENCODER_BITRATE 3mb to 11mb
720P NORMAL_ENCODER_BITRATE 2mb to 9mb

what he's trying to say is, will this be compatible with the esteem. they are for an optimus of some kind or droid3, im not sure where i found that post :-\

my one question is... will our device handle 1080p recording? as far as i know the esteem only records up to 720p, im not sure if adding this will change that or not but it's worth a shot.. i just dont know if it's actually required hardware we need but dont have..

on another note i will try adding this in.. if not all than at least some of the build.prop additions.. see if there is a difference :D

well lol im not sure about 1080p haha but yea hopefully this stuff works for our phone nd wat were ur results bro?
 
well today i was told try everything thts on here for the camera even the 1080p stuff if we wanted but anyways did anyone try these settings or does anyone have any results?

well new thing he says "None of the settings i sent go into the buildprop, these are app values u need to find or add then recompile the camera app with the changes."
