Root Need message.apk file

I deleted my message file by mistake and need to know where to get this to download and reinstall....i have tried apps from the appstore but don't seem to work with those apps....thanks

i used file explorer and rom toolbox and i get no install...

if not try download the free version of Rom Toolbox from the play store. open it up and back up one app. go in to the root browser on the same app and move the file i gave you to mnt/sdcard/app-manager/system apps. go back to the backup section of Rom toolbox and you should see the backup there. just restore it at that point. Theoretically. hope it helps.

The restore thing was a nice try but android i guess is not that stupid...lol but still no luck... can i use a program to push it into my phone?

did you get an error? what happened when you tried to restore it. I do that all the time between mine and my wives esteems. maybe its the different versions of android.

it sits there and you see it's trien to install but does nothing..

does it time out. are you pressing back button. how long did you let it try. sometimes the restores take a while. i have had them take 3 to 5 minutes to restore.

i let is sit there for awhile and it stays at 0%

Factory resets only wipe data

if i were you i would start the restore then go do something else for 5 minutes or more and come back to it to see if it did something.

if you completely reflashed your rom you would get it back. but then of course you would lose all your apps and data.

If he doesn't wipe data he won't lose anything. Just wipe cache and dalvik and reflash the same rom
