connecting the phone without the battery and then going to device manager and selecting the phone..................................

This was the trickiest part for me.. was stuck forever it seemed to get fastboot drivers on.. have device manager open already and show hidden devices under view selected .. in the fastboot.zip there is a usb_drv_windows directory.. the trick to it is, when you plug in the phone with the battery, you'll here it ding, unding, ding, unding that it found a new device.. under other devices it OMAP will show up then disappear.. you have to right click on it the second it shows up then install the drivers from usb_drv_windows.. to be completely honest, i MAY have got them to finally install by plugging in the usb (with no battery) then quickly throwing in the battery then clicking it.. i was at wits end by that time.. once you get that driver installed the rest is smooth sailing..

Got my g2 yesterday and I figured out how to unbrick it, which happens to also work for the l9.
I take no credit other than bringing it to you.

1) Download the v10dkdz or v10ekdz

2) Download LG mobile support tool and Install it. (It will open up when its done just CLOSE IT OFF)

3) Download / Install FlashTool (R&D Test Tool) found here. Only download flash tool file.
Directory Listing of //Xda/LG Optimus G Pro/LG Software/

4) Power off your phone, press Volume Up & and then plug in the usb cable (enter to a download mode)

5) Extract FlashTool and run UpTestEX.exe

6) In R&D Test Tool window,
Select Type = 3GQCT (top left hand side)
PhoneMode = DIAG (top right hand side)
Select kdz file = click to select your LG stock rom *.kdz
Click "Normal web upgrade test" (bottom right hand side)
Then another window will pop up, click "Upgrade Start" button
wait a few seconds, another window "Select Country & Language" pop up,
=> Country=Republic of Korea
=> Language=English
you can click ok to proceed

7) All Done and wait for finish!

If you changed the hosts file to use offline method previously, you'll have to open up the hosts file using notepad ran as administrator and delete the last two lines you added, save and restart your computer.

Alright. The reason it won't flash is because once a jellybean bootloader is installed, you must start from the phone booted and in LG software mode in order to flash via offline KDZ.

The ONLY way to flash from bootloader with a jellybean bootloader installed is via LG Flash.

1. Download this: https://app.box.com/s/ua760vn52db4ainj92hb

2. Extract, install, and read the readme in that zip^

3. Download and extract the model # DLL for the KDZ you have: View attachment L9_DLL.zip

4. Use this to get a single BIN file from the KDZ QUICK KDZ EXTRACTION TOOL for FLS+BIN+CAB+WDB+DLL - Ver:0.1 - xda-developers

(Note: the single file will look like all the other files but no number at the end. It will be the biggest file in size in the BIN folder. You need this single file, everything else can be deleted.)(If you don't get it extracted to a BIN file, the model number you entered is wrong.)

5. Open LG Flash, select the DLL and BIN (Make sure the model number of the DLL and BIN file match.)

6. Look at images in this thread to properly set up LG Flash: LG Flash Tool - Free - no need B2B User/Pass - GSM-Forum ....basically in device manager, change COM# to COM 41 (Ignore the thing about COM75),put phone in download mode, then start the flash process, unplug phone for 5 seconds, replug and the flashing will begin.

You followed the video? I don't know what you did to your phone but you seem to be the only one who can never fix no matter what method..
