Root Need some help? Unroot Problems

Ive looked at the guide, folloewd it to a T, checked google and this forum up and down and this is obviously a last resort.

Evo 4G, Revolutionary Root Method, used unroot guide for revolutionary to restore back. It all worked. Everything was a success, until i sold the phone and the person went to hook it up at the sprint store and they came out from the back and said the phone is locked!? I have no idea why, my buddy John from the sprint store said it looked fine the Hboot and Radio were good, but he cant figure it out.

I left the PC36IMG file on there
And i did not have HTC Sync on my pc when i unrooted the phone

I wanna know what i should do now? Try to Unroot it again using what? Or maybe try to put Froyo on it? The phone itself has all the sprint crap on it again looked good and turned on just fine but as i said before they said its locked. Please Help, Thank You.

ok we need some more info about the phone. what is your hboot? do you have s-on of s-off? what is your baseband (radio)?

Radio- 2.15.00.11.19
Hboot-2.18.0001
S-On\Off- It was off, but i thought through the unrooting process it was turned back on?

I have to get the phone back tomorrow and fix it then give it back to him. I will have it in hand tomorrow if thats what i need, i mean to make sure i give any other details.

ok looks like they updated the phone with the new ota. the latest ota basically locked down the bootloader. so it will say locked at the top. it really does not mean anything unless that person wants to root it. if that person does then give him the link to this guide:

Ok, so how do i get the phone to activate? it wont activate at all, they said it was locked when they tried to activate it.

not sure what they mean then. if you are on stock then you should be able to activate it. as long as you have s-on with hboot 2.18 and you are on a unrooted stock rom, i do not see why they can't activate it.

Ill have to make sure S-on is .... On lol tomorrow, thank you so much. Ill update tomorrow.
 
That is stock unrooted with the latest ota. I would call sprint and find a corprate store to activate it. The regular sprint carrier store by me are a bunch of people that arent verry nolegable. that should even be able to be activated over the phone as long as its not stolen or has an outstanding bill.
 
Sprint IS GARBAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They offered me to be let out of my contract because of my roaming! They said NO EARLY TERMINATION FEE! Now their is one on the account and i have to talk to them and get it off or the phone will not activate. I would never again recommend Sprint, i was loyal for 6 years and this is how its gonna be!
