Need some help with puppy names.

I need a name for the newest addition to our family- a staffordshire/ american bulldog mix. She's only 3 weeks old so we have some time to think of a name. Now, the breeders nick named her moomoo but yeah... no. I suggested Princess but my husband doesn't like it. We have agreed on Sweetpea but I'm just wondering if there's another name out there.

So my parameters are this;

  • I don't want a human name. Too weird.
  • I don't want a typically dog name like Lady-- it's boring.
  • It has to be feminine but not too assertive.

Awww soo cute!! I just love the staffie's big head. I'd be awfully sad if you took her away from me! :P I'm swimming in a sea of testosterone-- I have two other dogs and a cat that are all male. This will be the last edition in our home.

My brother brought up the name, 'Sunshine'.
 
oh! here's my APBT/American Bulldog mix, Lani:

that's not her teeth though. she fell asleep eating popcorn. she was a rescue so i didn't get to name her. though i call her Baa Baa most of the time. she has been called Moo Cow before(much like the breeders called your pup haha!).

i like naming a dog something that fits their personality, so i kinda just watch the pup for a couple of days then figure out a fitting name.
 
You could name her 'Verizonsucksass' and just call her 'Ass' for short. Or you could call her 'Zebra'... you know, pronounced like 'Debra', only with a 'Z' on the front because she's black and white like a............ ok, nevermind.



On a side note, I've always wanted an all white, male dog that I could name 'Saint', because I think that's a kick ass name for an all white male dog. But I know this means little to you since your dog is niether male, or all white sooo.... I'll shut up now.

I dunno, I'd proly have to go with Kirk (you know, Captian Kirk), just because he's such an awesome Captian. If that's too masculine for ya, call her 'Kirkie'.

Although, I will agree that Captain T. Kirk is an awesome captain-- I'm not a star trek fan. I'm more of a star wars fan ;) and I won't name my dog Leia because I have a friend whose baby sister is named Leia.
 
I named my (dead) dog after her color. Coco! Chocolate Lab..

So umm.. oreo, domino, tux, checkers, panda.. :)
