Root Need some help...

Also why won't they pin your guide? I always have to search for it...

Thanks again guys. Also I backed up my apps to my sd card with the super-toolbox 8 backup app. I have my photos backed up to my pc. My contacts are backed up to my gmail. My messages are in my gmail. Any thing else I would need to do?

Well its a free app and contains a bunch of useful stuff and I have been using it ince my triumph...
 
The other thing to try is to use a stock ROM and access the programming menu in the dialer. Edit a few things and make them all 1's or 0's then reboot and then go back to the programming menu and hit activate phone. The same problems happened to someone on the forums for my old phone and that's how he fixed it. Essentially he just unactivated the service to it and then reactivated. I just don't remember which options you change to 0's or 1's and it requires your MSL. I also don't remember the code to dial go get to the menu. xD
 
Ok well I'm going to flash the harmonia ROM. So should I be typing the commands from the shooter-root-soff-fix>S-OFF folder?
 
No and is that the right command place?

I don't know. It depends on where your fastboot.exe is located. If that is the location then yes :p

adb reboot bootloader

or battery pull, then hold volume down+power to get to the bootloader. Then select fastboot.

I keep getting this error. and my phone shows HTC on my phone in white.. What do I do?
 
What do you mean? I did these steps in order: 1) You should be in the bootloader. If you're not, type in adb reboot bootloader (I DID THAT) & verify that your HBOOT reads fastboot USB before you continue

2) Issue the following commands. Wait for each one to complete before you start the next:
view plaincopy to clipboardprint?
fastboot erase cache
view plaincopy to clipboardprint?
fastboot oem rebootRUU
 
Yes, you didn't unlock the bootloader. Obtain your Unlock_code.bin file from your email and unlock the bootloader again - the steps are in Step One of my guide if you need them again.

Basically, put the Unlock_code.bin into your S-OFF folder, then issue the following code:

1 thing at a time.

Make sure harmonia.zip is on your SD card

With your phone off

1. Pull battery and reinsert

2. Hold volume down and power
(Now you should be in boot loader)

3. Use the volume down to navigate to recovery

4. Press power
That should load recovery

5. Now find backup/restore

6. Select backup and wait til its finished

7. Now go back to the main menu and find wipe

8. You either need to wipe everything except SD card, or wipe individually, cache, dalvik cache, system, boot, and data

9. Now back to the main menu

10. Find install from SD option and select it

11. Find harmonia.zip and select it and wait for it to finish

12. Reboot

If this doesn't work, we'll move to the ruu

I don't think this is what he's trying to do

He's already s off
No need to unlock boot loader
Also I don't think he's run the ruu yet
 
where would it say that? I have a screen that says HTC on it just that A black screen with htc on it...
 
I am SOFF and everything i flashed mobster hd I am trying to flashing harmonia I was told to do step 2...

do i just poull the battery even with the htc screen on?? I can't tell it to shut down...
