Root need to re-install the gingerbread 2.2 software in my vm670

You need to give us more information so we can better help you.
Rooted or not?
Custom recovery?
Baseband version? zv4, zv5 or zv9
Custom rom?
How did you end up in this situation?

If rooted, you need to post in the all things root subforum.

The best way to return back to the 2.2 Froyo (2.3 is G)ingerbread) is to go to the All Things Root sub-forum (scroll to bottom of V forum for link). Then go to the All Things Root Guide sticky/Guides/the guide on the ZV9 update.
This will return your phone to a bone stock 2.2 state with a stock recovery.
Note: Make sure you do the update twice (once in custom recovery, and once in stock recovery) or your phone will act all sorts of goofy.

Also need to remember to be careful which custom recovery you flash it with. Bobzhome vm670nh recovery is recommended. Zengarden will brick and I'm pretty sure I've heard cot 2.1 works fine
