Root Need Volt ZV6 Activated Stock Rom TWRP Backup

Rumon

Newbie
Good day to everyone,
Can anyone please give me carrier activated Like Sprint, boost or virgin Stock Zv6 TWRP Backup.
I'm not sure that this will help me but i like to try this.

Something you can try, since you have a USA phone is to revert back to a completely fresh system. You might and up having to reactivate the phone, but it would certainly fix your issue, unless it's been happening since you activated it with your carrier.

First, use TWRP to make a backup and copy anything you need to save on to a computer, then follow the instructions for the depreciated method in this post:
http://androidforums.com/index.php?posts/6842076

It will install generic, non carrier specific stock zv3 software. I know English is not your first language so please pay close attention to the pictures make sure your windows look the same as far as options selected. Please ask questions if anything is confusing. Unfortunately there's no way to do this without a computer.

Hello My friend,
Thanks for your effort. but its kind a old school task for me.
Because i have done this several times. let me tell you one thing LG volt LS740 only made for Sprint, Boost & virgin Mobile.
Manufacturer (LG) make this Firmware/Rom to us carrier base ( as per business contract between LG & US CDMA carrier)
So when you are going to activate this phone with boost rim card then boot animation, shutdown animation, carrier label & some others things will be become boost mobile's environment.

What i have done with this phone:
1. After getting on my hand i just change SPC/MSL by using SE & LG tools ( http://setool-3.com )
2. The go to ##DIAG# from dialer & enter SPC enable diag.
3. Connect with DFS ( http://cdmatool.com )
4. change R-UIM to NV from programming tab.
5. reset & put CDMA R-uim card its working perfectly.
6. update to ZV6 through wifi.
7. root the phone with LG one clickroot
9. do factory reset.
8. Flash TWRP recover with flashify & take a stock backup
10. After root remove LGDMSClient.apk for activation popup ( http://androidforums.com/threads/sprint-pre-paid-bypass-activation.940426 ). i'm not playing with "com.qualcomm.qcrilmsgtunnel" as per elisam98 ( http://androidforums.com/members/elisam98.1777439 ) Solution( http://androidforums.com/threads/how-to-turn-off-hands-free-activation-crap.886047 ). because after remove that you phone screen start blinking problem if u access any secret code.

11. install G2 Tweak Box and change carrier label that i manage.
12. do factory reset 2/3 times but call log problem still persists. call log in blank after making calls. call log is not working.
Tell me if i walk into wrong alley.

At what point did the call log stop working? Did it ever work? Do you actually have service?

My point was that something has gotten broken in the software, assuming that the call log did work at some point, so going back to the original software and starting over should fix it. You'll have to go through your setup process again, of course.

It's also possible that what you had to do to get the phone activated broke the call log and you'll have to live with that.

Did you look at the correct part of the post I linked? I was not referring to the root methods... Scroll down to the part titled "depreciated method" and follow it through step 3. It will take you back to the original software that the phone shipped with, then let it update before anything else.

Thanks for you reply. Ok bro you are right. Call log is not working just because remove system module forcefully. but who will go through the activation crap pop up every time when you connect to internet. i think i have to forget the stock camera & knock code & live with blisspop.

The activation app won't have anything to do with the call log. The issue is likely that you're using a US phone with US software with a foreign carrier.
