I've rooted my phone thanks to help from all the guides here, using Mirage and Zengarden.
All seems to be working as planned, except:
1) Netflix has jerky images & pixellation, but the sound seems OK
2) It doesn't seem like the icons for the themes are applying correctly
It's so nice not to be bumping up on the internal memory anymore.
Any ideas on how to fix my two problems? Thanks!
