There are two with the same name...be sure to get the one by PopSoft as the other looks like it could get you in trouble.

After that we will get you rooted. Best now for you to stay unrooted to get the upgrade. Then you can root and get the other apps.

Sounds good, I've got some "down time" over the weekend to play with my phone and get to know it a little better, then maybe I'll be ready to take the leap on Monday. LOL

anyway to stop the damn phone internet from taking you to always mobile sites.....i go to walmart.com.. and it takes me to mobile.walmart.com..... its annoying....i don't want the mobile sites..i want the regular site

I am also new here, and just got an ascend a few weeks ago... havent really done anything to it except install a few games. I have a lot of reading to do to catch up on rooting, over-clocking, and deleting bloatware.

1 quick question tho, the free angry birds game i got is a little laggy, and i went to the "running services" screen and some "huaweionlineupdates" thing has been running ever since i activated the phone i guess. Can i just plug this into my comp and get this update quicker ?

I have Better Keyboard and I'm really glad that I bought it. Its so much better then the Stock Keyboard and can keep up with fast texting. It also offers suggestions so you don't have to type a whole word yourself. I have also tried Cache Mate and really like it because it freed a lot of wasted space.

Skyfire browser has a button where you can change from desktop to mobile at any time. Desktop is not as good of an idea as out seems to be though because its hard to find what you want on the page what with zooming in/out scrolling around, etc.
