Accessories new big 3600 battery

I have been using my new 3600mAh batery for awhile and it makes a big difference. It came with the new back for the EVO and it does make it thicker, but lots of extra battery life. The only problem, is my gel suit wont fit anymore, and I cant find anyone selling a gel cover for the bigger battery back plate.

I think he is asking whether or not they make a skin for an evo that has a 3600 mah extended battery. The answer is maybe but I doubt there will be many to choose from since the battery is not HTC OEM.
 
Where are you guys buying larger batteries? My phone is only a couple days old with like 3 extra apps downloaded and every morning after sitting in my pocket for 4 hours, it's down to around 80% battery. I'd gladly give the phone some bulk for some extra battery life.

Check eBay for a 3500 mAh battery (it is actually 3000 mAh). It is discussed at length in this thread:

Seidio makes a 3500 mAh battery as well, but it is significantly more expensive. You should be able to find the first one for $10-11.
 
Yeah I was reading that thread and it sounds like a pretty sweet upgrade. I just don't like the fact that the back cover doesn't fit 100% snug. And it doesn't say HTC on the back. I dunno, I like the stock cover and the ebay ones just look too cheap for me. *shrug*

My complaint is lack of case options.

The main difference being that the Seidio has it's own case while the $11 eBay specials don't have a dedicated case yet. I'm sure the same factory will be churning out cases before too long...
