If you look at trygunzy picture post (which his cam is actually set to 1mp :D) youll see a yellow header that says the image was resized for the forum. So if someone wants to take 1 picture and upload it and post it as trygunzy did and the resolution comes out to 3264x2448 then this mod works. Anything less it doesnt.


Now before its even said "But look at the quality of the pics next to each other"

The reason? The amount of light. More light higher quality pics. Your front facing camera can take damn near the same quality pics as your rear facing. Wanna test it out? Take a picture inside with the front facing camera...then go outside in the sun and take a pic to where the front facing cam is facing the sun....cheddermane did post 2 of nearly the same exact pics of the same thing.....But he moved to take the second picture. So the light from the tv being on isnt hitting the lens of the camera the exact same way at the exact same angle.

I was thinking the same way there isn't too much of a difference. Instead of megapixels we need to focus on better light sensitivity.

On Cm9 you could just help me out if you know what you're doing. ;)

yes but you have to either relable the libs folder to lib first or just move the lib files to the right folder.
whether or not the 8mp funcionality of this app actually works, the app itself is pretty sweet. but front face camera wont work on it for me
